What is the order process for custom sugar cookies?

First things first! Fill out the custom order form to give me all the order information. This includes the date of your event, the theme of the event, the color palette, any words, phrases, or names you would like included, any specific details, and inspiration photos.

Once you send in the form I will check my availability to confirm if your desired date is available. If I am able to take your order I will email you an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your date will be secured and the order is placed. Please note that the date is not secured until payment is received.

2.

How early should I order my cookies?

If you have a large order (more than 5 dozen) the sooner the better! For any other orders, a month before your event is preferable. There are times of the year when I book up months in advance so it is always best to reach out when you know you want to order even if you don't know the details yet!

3.

Why are decorated cookies so expensive?

I use the best ingredients to give you fresh and delicious cookies for your event. Additionally, there is a lot of work that goes into these cookies from the initial designing, to baking, to decorating, to packaging. Each cookie takes on average 15 minutes to decorate. Remember, you are paying for my experience and artistic abilities!

4.

How are your cookies packaged?

All my cookies come individually heat sealed in poly bags to maintain their freshness. For an additional cost, cookies can be packaged in boxes of 3 or in tall poly bags tied with a bow.

5.

Do I need to refrigerate my cookies?

No! Cookies should be kept at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. They should never be refrigerated. If you aren't serving your cookies within 2 weeks of receiving them, you can freeze them to keep them fresh.

To Freeze: Place cookies upright in an airtight container. Take container out of the freezer the night before you plan to serve the cookies. Leave the container closed overnight until completely room temperature. This prevents condensation on the cookie bags which can disturb the icing designs.

“Sugar cookies are my absolute favorite. I’ve favored this kind of cookie since I was a little girl (perfect balance of a not-too-sweet-treat imo), and these sugar cookies are unreal. They have the perfect snap with somehow an insanely soft center. I bought some for my boy friend for Valentine’s Day. After I tried one I literally HID one of his own cookies from him just so I could eat it with my morning coffee the next day. So yea, I’ll be buying again.”
